The B2B Fair InCosmetics Global, which took place from 17.-19. April in Amsterdam, is one of the biggest cosmetics fairs in the world. Among the 800 exhibitors, which participated this year also ADSI presented its services in analytics and in vitro testing.
For the first time there was an exhibition area for testing at the InCosmetics, in which also ADSI was represented with its own booth. The interest of the numerous visitors, who visited the stand intentionally or by coincident, was impressive. Cosmetic companies, raw material producers or service providers wanted to know more about the test and analysis systems in order to test cosmetic components, products or final formulations. This affects e.g. cosmetic claims confirmations to prove effects such as “revitalizing”, “skin-calming” or “anti-aging” which can be performed in the ADSI- 3D skin model with reconstructed human epidermis in order to gain a market advantage with these in vitro studies. In addition, the stability of the products or the quantification of certain ingredients are important in the product development, and this is where the high-end analytical methods of the ADSI come in, with which raw materials or formulations can be analyzed in many different ways to investigate further effects.
The ADSI presented itself at the fair as an innovative, flexible CRO and was able to make numerous new contacts.
